Do you know of a source for landscaping photos of building entrances? Trying to get ideas...?

How do i get my husband realize his landscaping ideas and designs are just horrible!?!?
My husband is very much a control freak and anti "women have good ideas" kind of man.. (why am i with him? i dont know but thats a whole other topic) Now he is NOT creative, but he thinks he is....ive always been artistically gifted and creative since i was a child and would like to say i think i have really great plans and ideas...not to mention i read a lot of gardening magz. We are trying to "spruce up" our garden and this is in an area that a lot of people see (very Traffic-y and about the only thing to look at for awhile) Now he has horrible decorative ideas but he thinks he is gods gift to gardening layouts. I cant stand what he wants to do and where he wants to place things, but he argues with me saying "I have no idea what im talking about, and leave the planning up to him" But honestly, he is just horrible and soooo boring... what on earth do i do, since a ton of people will see this area and i dont want to look like an idiot?!?

Inexpensive ideas to landscape a large backyard of weeds.?
My husband and I are buying a beautiful fixer-upper foreclosure with a lot of potential. The backyard is just about 1/4 acre of sticks, weeds, and hard dirt. I would eventually like a to install a deck, stamped cement patio, and start a garden, but fixing the house itself is our main priority for now. My problem is that I have 3 children (ages 7,5,and 3) and I run a home daycare and so I have smal children that need the back yard. Does anyone have any inexpensive landscaping ideas that I can do for now until I have the funds to fix it the way I want?

What r the best landscape ideas for around the front house?
I just bought a house in Georgia that sits up on a hill. I want to do something with the front lawn. One area that I want to focus on is the shrubs around the perimeter of the house. I need to get some ideas so what is a good website to look at photos. I hear there are certain things you shouldn't do since it is close to the house and can cause termites, and other bugs to get into the house. I want to choose the right thing (rocks vs mulch, right type of plants, etc.)

No grass landscaping?
At the back portion of our back yard is all shade, we have put grass seed down but it is only comming in barely,( i did try shade grass seed) i dont think sodding will help, as there is so much shade, what else can we do ...any landscape ideas that can make it look nice without maybe having any grass back there at all, stones ?, wood chips? i have no idea, i dont want to have to leave it all dirt...thanks.....ps...cheap cheap cheap would also be a factor :)

I am looking for some landscaping ideas?
I am hoping to redo the landscaping at my new house in the spring. We live on a busy highway (unfortunately) and in a small town. We bought the house in February and I was waiting until spring/summer to see what was planted. Everything that is planted, I will admit I don't know which are the plants and what are the weeds. So I just want to redo it with what I want that way I know what it is. I know I want to plant the bush called weigela, because my mom and dad have it in their backyard and I love it. I would like to have things planted in front of the house which is facing north and gets some sunlight, but not much. I would like some between the house and the garage which is on the east side with some sunlight. Also we have a deck on the back of our house which is the south side of the house. It gets the most sunlight, along with the west side of the house. I haven't planned on anything being planted on the west side of the house, but would possibly think about it for an eventual thing. I just need help with ideas of things to plant, with or without sunlight. Colorful things, that are also beautiful, are more of what I have in mind. I am open to any ideas.

I have about a .25 acre of weeds and dirt in my yard right now. I would like some landscaping ideas and how much they might cost (in April of next year). I have looked online but most of my searches come up with ridiculous ideas like numerous plant types, garden areas, water features, etc. All I need are some basic ideas. Like concrete shapes, grass, and maybe an area for a future garden. My budget is really low (MAYBE 2K), so all I need are general ideas/tips to get my yard in working order for next year so I can actually use it. I can build onto it later, but for now I just need a quick, cheap fix to make a yard suitable so that my daughter can play in it. Ant links/ideas are appreciated. Thank you!

I need landscaping ideas!!!?
We bought a home recently and our backyard is not landscaped yet. It is a huge back yard. I was wondering if you could provide me with some ideas, maybe photos if you find any.
