Questions about Morning Glories, Cosmos, and Bachelor's buttons.?
I planted all 3 in a plastic tray with cover (greenhouse effect). They are all about 2-3 inches tall, They have little tiny leaves and thin stem, except for the morning glories, their stem is a little thicker and the leaves are much larger. It's been about a week since planting them. I've been bringing them in at night and I leave them out during the day, they're mostly in shade til the sun hits them for about 2 hours. I'm in California so it's pretty warm out here. QUESTIONS: 1) What kind of soil does each one of these plants need?(I'm a beginner so please be clear) 2) Do I just dig up old dry soil and put it in the pot? (For the cosmos and morning glories since they like poor dry soil) 3)Do they need fertilizing? Should I make my own fertilizer? (Banana peels, coffee grinds, egg shells and milk) And should fertilizer be applied to all plants? 4)I want to transfer them into clay pots, when do I do this? And how? They are in the netting from the peat right now. How many do I put in each pot? 5) Do I put them in direct sunlight or not yet? 6) How long until they bloom? 7) Are all these flowers pretty similar? I need to keep this cheap as I am on a low budget, I just need to add some color to my apartment balcony. Also, i bought some Miracle Gro organic potting mix but it has little white bugs in it, should I throw it away? I appreciate all advice and 10 points goes to best answer.

This is the question, the link/pic is just a picture of a greenhouse and an octagon with measurements but i have written the question. A greenhouse consists of a pyramid on top of a prism. The cross section of the prism and the base of the pyramid is a regular octangon. Each side of the octagon is 0.80m long. Can i put my tomato plants outside now? 13/05/2012?
I live in the South East of England and i just wondered if i can put them outside now? We have had quite good weather at the moment in the middle of may, should they be alright? I got a load in the greenhouse and left in there at night and they are all fine. 12-17 degrees it will be this week and i suspect that to carry on next week. And i will harden them off

What are some good flowers to plant from seed in May?
Hi there any gardeners on Y!. I'm cultivating the little garden in my new house. I have no lawn but a few flower beds and plenty of space for pots, and a bit for hanging baskets. I'm focused on growing vegetables indoors and out, and in a mini greenhouse. However, I would really like some more colour in the garden, so I want to grow some flowers. Importantly, I would like them to be healthy friendly plants that encourage insects and wildlife. So basically, my question is, what are some good flowers to grow in May that will support the health and wellbeing of my garden, and where is best to eventually put them - hanging baskets/soil/pots etc...? Sims 2: What do you and don't like about it?
I don't like that I can't build a greenhouse and attach it to the actual house so I can have an indoor pool. I also find it extremely difficult to even attach a garage to the house,even if I level it together as one...like I want to house to have foundation but the garage won't attach. And I can't even do the columns so I can have a neat porch. I don't like that I can't build a good basement. I don't like the fact that I can't for the life of me match anything,I'm bad at designing so random things are just placed everywhere. I hate how I build a big house but there are still places life that have big spaces between them. I like that you can go to college but hate how long it takes. I hate how I can't figure out how to get the teens pregnant,I do that cheat but just end up with a baby named baby boy "last name" and my teen sim wasn't even pregnant. I hate how sometimes my Sims look deformed. I hate how in freetime your sim already comes with a predetermined hobby and you can't change it(that's dumb). What do you like and hate about Sims 2???

Can i put basil sprouts in greenhouse?
Hey all, Temperatures have been in the 20s, if your on celsius. I think in the states that's close to in the 70s farenheit. My basil sprouts have their basal leaves (the first leaves) and 4 true leaves, or regular basil leaves. Can they go in the greenhouse now? I have tomato plants and pepper plants in there and they are doing fine. The basil have been inside for about a month and a half. Thanks!

I see a few winged aphids on my tomato plants? What should I do?
I find maybe 1 or 2 aphids per tomato plants. I have about 40. i planted mint and marigold next to them. I dont see any wingless aphids. Another strange thing is i transplated these tomatoes into the graden from the greenhouse 6 days ago.
