Critique My Extract, Please?
Huddling deeper into my leather jacket, I plunged my hands into my pockets. It was a dark night. The blackness of the street was interrupted at regular intervals by the orange glow of the street lights. The nip of the cold attacked my body, and I could see my breath on the air. I watched the steam rise up absent-mindedly with every outwards breath. The sound of my footsteps on the frosty pavement was too loud in the silence of the night. I tightened my scarf, pulling it right up around the bottom half of my face. I hated winter. The bright lights on the forecourt of the almost-abandoned petrol station were dazzling after the darkness of the evening. I shaded my eyes with my free hand, blinking until I adjusted to my new environment. I tied the end of the dog's lead around a nearby water pipe. Phantom was a big dog ? a Siberian husky. He was hefty and muscular with long teeth that showed his wolf heritage. But looks could be deceiving. While he was totally harmless, he was a handy companion to have; he was pretty good at keeping potentially dangerous strangers at bay. And trust me, that was very beneficial around this area. I entered the kiosk ? it was almost as cold inside as it was out. Two men were talking in low voices not far away from me. One was tall and pale, with a mop of curly dark brown hair and narrow, almond shaped eyes. There was a certain snakelike quality about him. The other was broad, leathery skinned and shaven-headed. His bare arms were a multicoloured mess of tattoos. My eyes darted over the pair worriedly ? they were both threatening in their own way. The tattooed one glanced at me over his companion's shoulder, and I swerved my gaze away. Milk. I thought. That was what I needed. Milk. I took a deep breath. Get milk, pay for milk, leave with milk. Don't get into trouble with fearsome-looking strangers. Just get the god-damned milk. Yes. That sounded like a good plan. I headed to the back of the small shop, where the admittedly faulty refrigerators stood. The lights inside flickers and they emitted an unhealthy sounding buzz. I grabbed a bottle of milk from the back of the refrigerators (it was less likely to be sour if I got it from the back) and went to the till. The girl at the counter looked extremely bored. She glanced at the milk in my hand. ?Two quid fifty,? She grunted, in a thick accent that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I handed over the coins in my pocket, and she stuck them in the till. ?Cheers. Bye.? ?Bye,? I replied, quietly. I made sure to keep my eyes down as I left the shop. I wasn't in the mood for trouble. Not tonight. I took Phantom's lead back into my hand and headed home quickly. These streets were a twisting labyrinth of danger, particularly in the dark. But as long as I kept my head down and my nose clean, I knew I'd be okay. As I got to the house, I looked up at it and sighed. Run-down. That would be a good word to describe it. Derelict, maybe. It was an old house, and I guess it could've been quite nice, back in it's heyday. But now it was a ruin. Swear words and dirty phrases were sprayed all over the walls, along with symbols like swastikas and satanic pentagrams. Most of the windows were boarded up with pieces of wood and the door was so warped and twisted, that you had to give it a good shove with your elbow. I suppose it was big, but it was tall rather than wide, with three floors plus an attic room. Round the back was a small garden, where the grass grew waist-high and was splashed with weeds. I closed my eyes, heaved a big sigh and the walked towards the front door. I took a deep breath before calling out ?I'm home!? In as bright a voice as I could muster. ?Charlie!? A small voice said as my legs were grabbed. I looked down and found a genuine smile on my face as Amalie smiled back at me. ?Hi, sweet pea,? I said. ?I missed you,? She said, tugging the hem of my shirt until I picked her up. I chuckled. ?I was only gone ten minutes,? I said. ?I know ? but I still missed you,? She said. Then she pouted. ?Adriana was being mean again.? ?Ah,? I said, sighing. ?What did she say?? ?She was just being really, really horrible,? Amalie frowned. ?Niall was being nice too me though.? ?Tell you what,? I said. ?You go find Niall and get him to help you feed Phantom, eh?? ?Are you going to tell Adriana off?? She said, as I set her down on the ground. ?I'm just going to have a word with her,? I said. I couldn't help a small grin as Amalie grabbed Phantom's collar and tugged, saying 'C'mon boy, time for din-dins!'. Phantom was almost as big as Amalie, but he followed her as if he was a tiny puppy dog.

Is there a dead body in my backyard?---read discription?
Ok, so me and my family just moved into this new hpuse...we chose it cuz, it has a backyard...one time we.were gonna have BBQ party so my mom told me to clean the backyard...i knowtist that one side of the backyard was bumpy and had more grass grown on it than the other side....so I was curiouse, so I started digging it and then I saw.som de really small bones, but I just thought that mabe they r chicken bones.......i couldnt continue digging cuz the there was wood that was made to shut the groud, the wood is too strong and I cant remove it, my mom was gonna call the cops but she didnt want us toblook stupid wen they find out that there is actually nothing...do u think its a body, why? Why wont the grass grow in my lawn?
We have a nice lawn but the problem is that the grass wont grow!!!......we have planted four coconut trees in our lawn and the gardner said the grass isn't growing coz of the excess shade on account of the coconut trees. I don't trust him though. Does grass need a huge deal of sunlight to grow. Everytime we plant em they just wither and die. There is no problem with the water either as we water the "lawn.....or whats left of it" regularly. Is there a ph problem in the soil??.....is it coz of the trees??.....lemme know....it just looks awful now!!!! :((

The soil is like clay, and it seems the deeper I dig, the more solid the clay is. There was grass growing in the area, so the first inch or two is pretty good soil. But then there's that clay. I have a bunch of leaves, like an inch or two just sitting on top. Wondering if I should mow them. Also, wondering if I should get a couple bags of manure, to just cover about a sixteenth to an eighth of an inch of the garden. Then till it all in about 9 inches deep?

Hello, I remember I used to watch a cartoon, as a kid. But I only remember a few scenes of it ... Can you help please ?? [And the film was divided in parts] Here are a few scenes : - The song in the beginning started like "money money money"'s chorus [Abba], but without the lyrics, just the melody. - The hero (which I don't remember anything of [name & appearance]) was helping the forest animals going to the lake, while the forest was on fire. - There was an evil snowman who could see in his crystal ball what the hero was doing. - The hero is in the evil snowman's ice castle. He discovers that that's the place where the evil one hides his secret carrots. I have a pathway and either side of it is some plants?
And on the other side of the plants is grass, now I'm having trouble of getting the grass out from the plants. I also don't want grass growing in the pathway. I'm Tom, I'm 16, gay and completely alone My life is so complicated, three years ago now I fell in love with a girl in my English class i remember how the feeling boiled up inside me when the bell rang at the end of class, i looked into her eyes and her into mine and i knew i was in love yet i never told her, firstly because I am way too shy, I was severely bullied in my middle school where i got depression, my mum kinda abused me yet social services did nothing, so despite the fact ive moved and went to a new school where i grew more confident, became myself and gained a good few friends i still hate myself and feel very paranoid, also I am gay so it would be wrong to try anything with her as i will never be able to make her happy, she is amazing and deserves so much better than me so last year i concluded loving her was enough and i am SO proud to love such an amazing beautiful, funny, intelligent popular woman who lights up this world, she doesn't deserve such a moaning selfish attention seeking gay tw*t like me. I kept all my problems to myself my brother got depression my house is full of arguments, violence and poverty, and the exams and social anxiety left me so stressed i now seem to have developed an anxiety disorder I have had spasms, seizures, panic attacks and depressions, I wanted to kill myself many times but have been to cowardly to do it,religion has helped me yet I am still always sad with only brief windows of happiness, me and the girl have left school classroom where my seed of love grew has been torn down and grass grows in its place, each day my dreams get older. There is one guy i've told all this to, i met him around the same time and though we did not go to the same class we now go to the same college and have the same tutor, I began to fall in love with him too although i will always love her, we spoke about our problems, our depression, his ex girlfriend who was my friend who was unfaithful to him and told every one when he first discovered he might be gay. I guess ive always loved him but now i've told him too much, its awkward now, he said at a party once that he wanted to kiss me but ever since i told him about the girl he seems to only say one word answers when we speak, i have to make all the effort, i cant stand it any more my home life is falling apart, im going mad and i think he hates me! all i want is to be loved, to be able to talk to someone who cares about me! I've never been out with some one of the same sex I am attracted to and I am so scared I will be alone forever, this is two people I've loved now who absolutely hate me and I cant take my life any-more but nobody cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I apologise that this is long and moaning and sad and doesn't make sense but I fear that I am going mad and i need somebody please!!!
